Exam timetable & seatingGrowth plan and above

Exam week, planned in an afternoon

Add each paper once, for as many classes as write it. Qyskul stops clashes, seats every hall so neighbours write different papers, and tells each student and parent exactly where to sit.

What you get

  • No clashing papers

A class can't be booked for two papers at the same time, and a whole-class paper counts for each of its arms.

  • One subject, many classes

Add Mathematics for every JSS 1 arm at 9am in one step, with notes like 'Paper 1: objectives'.

  • Classes mixed in every hall

Seating interleaves classes and shifts each row, so the person beside and in front writes a different paper.

  • Spaced seating

Leave an empty seat between candidates when the hall allows; you see the seats against the candidates before you start.

  • Invigilators without double-booking

Pick who watches each hall. A teacher can't be in two halls at once, and sees their duties when they sign in.

  • Seat numbers on every phone

Once you publish, students and parents see each paper's time, hall and seat, like C4 in the Main hall.

How it works

Simple from day one.

  1. 1

    Add the papers

Create the exam, then add each subject for the classes writing it.

  2. 2

    Seat each sitting

Choose the halls for each time slot and seat everyone in one click.

  3. 3

    Print and publish

Print the timetable, each hall's seat plan and door list, then publish to families.

Questions

What does the seat plan look like?

A grid of the hall from the front, with each student's name, paper and class on their desk, plus an A–Z door list so students find their seat.

Can we move a paper after seating?

Yes. Moving a paper to another time clears its seats, so you seat that sitting again.

Do parents see it before we're ready?

No. The timetable stays a draft until you publish it.
