Schools trust Qyskul with their most sensitive records. Here is how we protect them, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Everyone sees only their part
Roles and permissions decide what each person can see and do. Parents see only their own children; salaries and counselling notes stay with the people you choose.
Encrypted connections
Every page and every app connection uses HTTPS, including schools' own web addresses, which get free SSL certificates.
Passwords done right
Passwords are hashed, never stored as written. Starting passwords must be changed at first sign-in, and anyone can be signed out everywhere if a phone is lost.
Two-factor for our team
Our own staff can only open the platform console with two-factor authentication, and their sessions end after 12 hours.
Every change is logged
Important actions are recorded with who did them, when and from where, so a school can always see what happened.
Never sold, never advertised
We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising. Children's records are not sent to the AI lesson-note helper.
Your school stays in control
Your school owns its records. You decide who has access, and you can ask us for a copy of your data at any time. Card payments go straight to Paystack and fee money settles into your own bank account. We never hold it.
